Configure

  • Application: MS Internet Mail
  1. After downloading the Internet mail and news package run Internet mail by clicking on the downloaded file.
  2. When you see the Internet Mail Configuration screen, click Next.
  3. In the Name text box, type your name.
  4. In the e-mail address text box, type your username  immediately followed by @yourdomain.com, without any spaces.
  5. Click the Next button.
  6. In the POP3 text box, type mail.yourdomain.com
  7. In the SMTP text box, type mail.yourISP.com
  8. Click the Next button.
  9. In the Email Account text box, type your username
  10. In the Password text box, type your e-mail password (case sensitive.)
  11. Click the Next button.
  12. Select your connection type.
  13. Click the Next button.
  14. Click the Finish button.
  15. To connect to your ISP, double-click the My Computer icon on your desktop.
  16. Double-click the Dial-Up Networking  icon.
  17. Select your connection and click the Connect button.
  18. Enter your login password, if necessary.
  19. Once connected, click the Start button, point to Programs and choose Internet Mail.
  20. Click the Send and Receive button to check your mail.
